Terms of Service
Last Updated: April 5, 2026These Terms of Service apply to the Lyvio mobile app, website, and related services. By creating an account or using Lyvio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age in your region if higher.
- You own the content you create, but Lyvio gets a limited license to host and show it so the app works.

- Lyvio does not currently offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, or other paid features.
- We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that break these Terms or the law.
- Lyvio publishes child safety standards that prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), provide in-app reporting, address CSAM, and name a child safety contact point.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Lyvio, or older if required by local law.
- When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, including activity on linked sign-in methods such as Apple or Google.
- We may ask you to reauthenticate before sensitive actions, including account deletion or password changes.
2. Your Content
- You keep ownership of the content you create and submit to Lyvio.
- You grant Lyvio a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display, reproduce, and distribute your content only as needed to operate, improve, and secure the service.
- This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except for limited retention required by law or for security and fraud prevention.
- You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to upload or share anything you post.
3. Community Rules
- Do not harass, threaten, exploit, or impersonate other people.
- Do not post illegal content, sexually explicit content, spam, malware, or content that attempts to scam or manipulate other users.
- Do not upload content that violates someone else's privacy, intellectual property, or safety.
- Do not try to bypass moderation, scraping limits, or account restrictions.
4. Moderation and Enforcement
- Lyvio provides reporting and blocking tools so users can help keep the app safe.
- We review reports and safety issues as quickly as reasonably possible, and we aim to review them within 24 hours.
- We may remove content, limit distribution, disable features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.
- We may preserve evidence and cooperate with law enforcement or other authorities when required.
5. Child Safety Standards
Lyvio's published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) are set out in this section and apply to the Lyvio mobile app, website, and related services. These standards are publicly available, relevant to child safety, and identify Lyvio by name.
- CSAE is prohibited. You may not create, post, request, share, promote, facilitate, or attempt to conceal any child sexual abuse or exploitation content or behavior.
- CSAM is prohibited. Lyvio does not allow child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on the service. This includes photos, videos, computer-generated imagery, or any other content involving the sexual exploitation of a minor.
- In-app reporting. Lyvio provides in-app reporting and blocking tools so users can report posts, profiles, stories, comments, messages, or other user-generated content without leaving the app.
- Response to CSAM and confirmed CSAE. If we become aware of CSAM or confirmed CSAE, we will remove the content, take appropriate enforcement action, preserve relevant evidence as needed, and report to the appropriate authority when required by law, including NCMEC in the United States when applicable.
- Child safety laws. We take steps to comply with applicable child safety laws and regulations.
- Child safety contact point. Please direct child safety concerns, notices, and compliance questions to [email protected].
6. Fees and Paid Features
Lyvio is currently free to use and does not offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, or other paid features at this time. If we ever introduce paid features in the future, we will provide the applicable pricing and billing terms before you are asked to pay.
7. Account Deletion and Termination
- You can delete your account from within the app or through our deletion page at lyvio.app/delete-account.
- If you cannot access the app, you can also request deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
- We generally process deletion requests within 72 hours, unless a longer period is needed for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
- Deleting your account removes the account and associated user data from our active systems, except for limited data that must be retained for legal, safety, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Third-Party Services
- Lyvio uses third-party services to provide core features, including Firebase, Resend, Expo push notifications, Crashlytics, and Apple or Google sign-in.
- Those services may process data on our behalf or as part of their own platform requirements, and they are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
- We do not allow third-party service providers to use your data for their own marketing unless we say otherwise and the law allows it.
9. Communications
We may send you essential service emails, such as welcome messages, verification messages, password reset emails, and account deletion confirmations. These messages are part of the service and are not marketing emails. We will only send marketing emails if you separately opt in, where required.
10. Service Changes, Warranty, and Liability
Lyvio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for content posted by users.
11. Updates and Contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you. Continued use of Lyvio after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
