Terms of Service

Welcome to Lyvio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lyvio mobile application and website operated by Lyvio ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on Lyvio. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If we discover you are under 13, your account will be terminated immediately.

2. User Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you post on Lyvio (Stories, Reactions, and Messages). However, by posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you and your friends.

The Story Archive

Stories on Lyvio remain active for 24 hours before being moved to your Private Archive. Only you can see your archived stories. We store this content securely until you choose to delete it.

Photo Reactions

You understand that when you react to a post, your Photo Reaction will be visible to the author of that post. These reactions are intended to be ephemeral and authentic.

3. Community Guidelines & Acceptable Use

Zero Tolerance Policy: Lyvio maintains a strict, zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not use Lyvio to share anything that is offensive, harmful, or violates these Terms.

What is NOT allowed (Objectionable Content):

  • Harassment & Hate Speech: Bullying, threats, or any content that aims to degrade, defame, or harm others based on identity.
  • Explicit Material: Sexually explicit, NSFW, or pornographic content.
  • Illegal Acts: Violence, illegal activities, or promotion of dangerous items.
  • Deception & Spam: Spam, bots, automated scraping, or impersonating others.

Reporting, Blocking, & Content Moderation

To ensure a safe environment and enforce our zero-tolerance policy, Lyvio provides and acts upon the following safety mechanisms:

  • In-App Reporting: We offer a built-in mechanism for users to flag objectionable content or abusive behavior on any post, message, or user profile.
  • 24-Hour Review SLA: Our moderation team will review all user reports and act upon them within 24 hours of submission.
  • Enforcement & Ejection: If we determine that content is objectionable, we will remove the content immediately and permanently eject the user who provided the offending content from the application.
  • User-Level Blocking: You can block any abusive user at any time directly in the app. This immediately hides their content from you and prevents them from communicating with you.

4. Subscriptions & Free Trial

Lyvio is a subscription-based service. To use the app, you must maintain an active subscription or be within your free trial period. All new users are granted a 30-day free trial at the time of account creation. No payment is required to begin this trial. At the end of the trial period, you must purchase a subscription to continue using the service.

Payments & Cancellations: All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your app store settings. We do not provide refunds for partially used subscription periods.

You can manage your subscriptions in your device account settings. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google according to their respective policies.

5. Account Deletion & Termination

Your Right: You can delete your account at any time in the app settings. This is a permanent action and cannot be undone.

Our Right: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or any community guidelines, or if required by law or store policies.

6. Communications

By creating a Lyvio account, you agree to receive essential, service-related emails from us. These transactional emails include, but are not limited to, welcome messages, password resets, subscription confirmations, and account deletion notices. These communications are necessary for the operation of our service and do not require explicit opt-in consent. If we ever wish to send you promotional or marketing emails, we will ask for your explicit consent first.

7. Limitation of Liability

Lyvio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any content posted by users or any damages resulting from your use of the app. Your use of Lyvio is at your own risk.
